Lives through Friends offers a more independent lifeline to people in need of social care support who, in the past, have had their needs assessed and addressed by social services departments and other agencies. Where individuals believe that, with a little help, they will make better use of the funds by arranging support themselves, Lives through Friends offers an alternative solution.

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder though the person who suffers from it is not necessarily hyperactive. It is a chronic neurobehavioral disorder. There are different forms of this disorder including: predominantly hyperactive-impulsive, predominantly inattentive, and combined hyperactive-impulsive and inattentive
